Over the last decade of sharpening her somatic psychotherapy and mentorship skills, Katelyn set out to create a safe space and affirmative community for people with scoliosis that she so craved. Katelyn needed a healing, joyful and sacred brand to combat the sterile scoliosis industry.

Through our exhaustive brand audit and pathfinding sessions, we identified that in a hyper-specialized industry where experts pick the body apart, Katelyn helps them feel at home in their body by connecting to the wholeness of who they are. Thus, her purpose and direction was born.

While scoliosis can be an often clinical road, Katelyn’s conscious approach strikes the right balance of charisma and credentials. As a guide who helps those with scoliosis expand their identity beyond their diagnosis, it was key to create a graphic element that was more than just a spine.

This branding project was all about adding joy and playfulness to a category that is often filled with dread and shame, especially for the young teenagers Katelyn is out to serve.

As all of her work is virtual, showing how approachable she is through the screen is key.

With services for individuals and groups, Katelyn needed a website that would be inviting for her younger audience while approachable and trustworthy for parents. This was balanced with playful imagery and direct language, leading with her personal experience and extensive knowledge in healing arts.
